RANDLEMAN--Earl Wallace Allred, age 92, formerly of Randleman, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. Funeral services will follow on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dave McDaniels officating. Burial will be in the South Plainfield Friends Meeting Cemetery.
Mr. Allred was born in Randleman on January 11, 1922 to Carl and Bertha Gray Allred. Earl served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He was retired from Laughlin Hosiery Mill. In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his son-in-law: Cary Lloyd Richardson, sister: Louise Presnell, and brother: Bernard Allred.
He is survived by his wife, Helen "Rachel" Crowson Allred of Carillon of Asheboro; daughters, Jackie Richardson of Asheboro, Gail Cotner and husband Pete of Sophia; grandchildren, Christopher Mark Richardson of Asheboro; grandchild, Cami Bunting and husband Barrie of Asheboro, Mundy Hernandez and husband Mike of Asheboro, Lori Julian and husband Seth of Randleman; great grandchildren, Maci Bunting, Luke Bunting, Garrett Roberts, Hailey Hernandez, Maegan Julian; and brother, Richard Allred of Randleman.
