Doyle Carlisle

John Doyle Carlisle, age 73, of Asheboro died Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his home. Mr. Carlisle was born October 26, 1947 the son of Jimmy and Mabel York Carlisle. Doyle was a native of Randolph County and went to Randleman High School, Class of 1966. He served in the US Army during Vietnam and National Guards for 20 years. Doyle was the plant manager for Martin Marietta for 35 years. He enjoyed life and loved his family and dogs, Allie and Abby. He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Palmer Carlisle of the home; sons: Jason Carlisle and wife Kelly of Whitsett and Damon Carlisle and wife Melissa of Randleman; grandchildren: Hallie and Aiden; sister: Debbie McMahon of Kernersville. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will be held May 5, 2021 11:oo am at Randolph Memorial Park.
