Doyle Reece Brown

Doyle Reece Brown, age 86, of 315 Gardiner Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with The Rev'd. Canon R. Larry Emerson, Vicar officiating and with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Brown was a native of Ellerbe, NC and graduated from high school in High Point. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, serving in the European Theater, and was retired from Klopman Mills. Doyle enjoyed fishing, golfing, and reading. He is survived by his son, Steve Brown of Asheboro, NC; grandson, Jason Brown of Winterville, NC; granddaughter, Sarah Brown of Asheboro, NC; great grandchild, Sayla Brown. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 10:00-10:45 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
