Douglas Keith Peele

Douglas Keith "Doug" Peele, age 53, of 2432 Ether Road, Star died Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Randolph Hospice House. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church, 7912 Union Grove Church Road, Seagrove with Dr. Ronnie Chaney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Peele was born in Guilford County on March 13, 1958 to Troy and Mary Farmer Peele. He was formerly employed with High Point Fibers and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Doug was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Judy Cranford Peele; daughters, Kimberly Heath and her husband Michael of Rural Hall, NC, Amber Dees and her husband T.J. of Randleman, NC; sons, Michael Peele and his wife Tara of Asheboro, NC, Brandon Reynolds and his wife Julian of Eagle Springs, NC; mother, Mary Farmer Peele of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, River Britt, Owen Peele, Morgan Peele, Addy Raye Dees, Kenan Reynolds, and Tanner Heath; sister, Elizabeth Hunt of Asheboro, NC; and brother, Billy Peele of Archdale, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
