Dortha Lee Shaw

Dortha Lee Williams "Dot" Shaw, age 94, of Randleman died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. A native of Randleman, Dot was the daughter of Daniel Pickett Williams and Amy Ann Harrell Williams, both now deceased. She is also pre-deceased by her husband, Martin Shaw, sister Bessie Daniels and brother in law Kenneth Daniels. As a homemaker, she was very family oriented. A very caring loving person she enjoyed the close knit ministry of sending cards to others for special occasions. She is survived by one daughter: Becky S. Faucette of Randleman, NC and one son: Wayne Shaw and his wife Temple of Randleman, NC, grandchildren, Crystal Shaw, Daniel Faucette, Adam (Amber) Cox ,Jennifer Cox; great grandchildren, Sophie Macon, Joshua, Mason and Emma Briggs, Nathan and Nolan Cox; brother-in-law, James Shaw and his wife Faye; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday, December 28th at 2:00 PM at Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd., Randleman with Rev. J. Arnold Luther and Rev. Carol Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Country Holiness Cemetery, Randleman. The family will receive friends following service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Mt.
