Dorothy Edwards Wilkins

Dorothy Ann Edwards Wilkins, 84, of Asheboro, passed away on August 18, 2022.  
  
She was born on March 29, 1938 in Sampson County to Joseph Edwards and Ruby Edwards Lyons. Mrs. Wilkins was a former member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and was retired from Bost Neckwear. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilkins was preceded in death by her husband, William Corbett Wilkins and brother, Joe Edwards, Jr.
  
Mrs. Wilkins is survived by her daughter, Tammy Wilkins Allen of Asheboro; sons, Dennis Wilkins and wife Cathy of Sophia,  Bobby Wilkins and wife Darleen of Bedford, NH; grandchildren, Poppy Cox of Randleman, Jason Wilkins of Sophia, Joshua Allen of League City, TX, Jessica Allen of Raleigh; five great grandchildren; sister, Loretta Warren and husband Ronald of Dunn. 
    
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 21, 2022, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Mason officiating.
Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Randolph Memorial Park.
