Dorothy O'Briant Wicker

Dorothy O'Briant Wicker, age 76, of 3022 Old Liberty Rd., Randleman died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Wicker was born June 25, 1931 at Liberty, NC the daughter of the late Vivian and the late Kizzie (Stephenson) O'Briant. Mrs. Wicker was a native of Liberty and graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1949. She was a homemaker, a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Liberty and attended Solid Rock Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her brother, Winfred O'Briant; and sister, Pauline Harmon. She is survived by her husband: William M. Bill Wicker, three daughters: Janice Wicker of the home, Paula Cain and her husband Randy of Randleman, NC, Tammy Crotts and her husband Darin of Seagrove, NC; two sons: Douglas Wicker and his wife Carolyn of Seagrove, NC, Jerry Wicker and his wife Melanie of Randleman, NC; grandchildren: Heather and Daniel Abernethy, Matthew Wicker, Jordan, Jacob, Joshua and Justin Cain, Megan and John Wicker, Rachel, Caroline, Anna and Will Crotts; great grandchild, Hailey Abernethy; two brothers: Howard OBriant of Siler City, NC., Paul OBriant of Liberty, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. and at other times at the home of Jerry Wicker 2676 Old Liberty Rd. Randleman. The funeral will be Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Perry Brown and Rev. Gary Hill officiating.
