Dorothy Naomi "Dot" Robbins, a wonderful mother and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2008. She was 85 years old and a resident of Asheboro.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Phillips and Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens
Mrs. Robbins was a native of Morristown, TN, a member of Fayetteville Street Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Robbins.
She is survived by daughters, Carolyn Foster of Asheboro, Delores Peck and her husband Jim of Raleigh, Linda Dillard and her husband Mike of Raleigh, Brenda Pollard and her husband Alvis of Gallipolis, OH; son, Roger A. Robbins and his wife Carolyn of Asheboro, NC; sister, Irene Lane of Morristown, TN; grandchildren, Keith Foster, Jeffrey Foster, Sharon Reed, Karen Harouach, Stephanie White, Joanna Knorr, Timothy Knorr, Jonathan Dillard, Jennifer Connor, Jeremy Dillard, Meredith Thompson, Amy Elam, Bo Pollard, Laura Pollard, Derek Robbins, Andrea Heverly, Brian Robbins, Carissa Robbins; great grandchildren, Carrie Knox, Tabatha Isley, Joseph Foster, Austin Reed, Brittany Reed, Leslie Ann Foster, Marwan Harouach, Kyle Robbins, Thomas Robbins, Laura Heverly, Elizabeth Heverly, Ryan Heverly, Josiah White, Audrey White, Madeline White, Olivia White, Cody Knorr, Trinity Knorr, Ethan Knorr, Hayley Childress, McKenzie Connor, Madison Elam, Garrett Elam, Sophia Thompson, Brandon Robbins; great great grandchildren, Connor Knox, Gavin Knox.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
