Dorothy Hughes Richardson

Dorothy Hughes Richardson, age 85, of 1896 Spero Rd., Asheboro died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro, NC. Mrs. Richardson was born October 31, 1922, the daughter of the late Tom and the late Mabel (Henson) Hughes. She was a native of Randolph County, a homemaker and a member of Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church. Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Nickens. She is survived by her husband: Clifford B. Richardson; one daughter and her husband: Phyllis and Bill Bizzell of Asheboro, NC ; one son and his wife: C. Wayne and Karen Richardson of Asheboro, NC; two sisters: Frances Trochan of NJ, and Vera Staley of Asheboro, NC; Grandchildren, Donny Yow of Wilmington, NC; Alan Richardson of Asheboro, NC; and Shane Kindschi of Asheboro, NC; great grandchildren, Peyton Yow and Camryn Yow both of Wilmington, NC The family will receive friends Sunday, August 17, 2008 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday August 17, 2008 at 1:15 PM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Doug Dennis officiating.
