Dorothy Croker Poole, age 84, formerly of 707 Wilson St., Asheboro died Friday, October 19, 2007 at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation Of Asheboro, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Charlotte United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Poole was a native of Randolph County and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doak Andrews Poole, a son, David Guy Poole and a grandson, Jimmy Lee Yow, Jr. She is survived by daughters, Carole Poole Andrews and her husband, William Joseph of Thomasville, NC, Betty Joyce Yow of Asheboro, NC; sons, Marvin H. Croker and his wife Libby of Richmond, VA, Thomas Doak Poole of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Lisa Gaye Hedgecock and Amanda Jolene Hunt both of Thomasville, NC, Patricia Ann Poindexter of Seagrove, NC, Angela Denise Sechrest, Ether, NC, Kimberly Dawn Yow and Kimberly Dawn Maness both of Asheboro, NC, Jennifer Lynette Keaton of Randleman, NC, Jaime Elizabeth Batchelor of Franklinville, NC and Keith Harrison Croker of Ramseur, NC; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
