Dorothy Ann Johnson

Dorothy Ann Johnson, age 66, of 230 E. Presnell St., Asheboro died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Randolph Hospice House. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Whites Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklinville. Dorothy was born in Asheboro, NC on November 3, 1945 to Clayton Henry and Ruth Louise Allred Johnson. She was retired from Klaussner Furniture after 15 years of service. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brothers Jack Johnson, Rufus Johnson, Bruce Johnson, and Junior Johnson. She is survived by her brother, Billy Johnson and his wife Mary of Lexington, NC; sisters, Louise Johnson of Asheboro, NC, Ava Hooker and her husband Ed of Asheboro, NC, Nina Wallace and her husband Gary of Moncks Corner, SC; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
