Dorothy Irene Hall

Dorothy Irene Hall, age 90, of Asheboro died Friday, January 16, 2015 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation in Asheboro. Mrs. Hall was born May 12, 1924 in Asheboro the daughter of Alec Elisha and Dora Louise Hunt Hall. Dorothy was a native of Randolph County and a member of Dogwood Acres Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents Dorothy is preceded in death by her brother, Sammie Hall, sister, Letha Hall Spencer and her husband, Wilmer Jeremiah Hall. She is survived by her daughter: Carol Hall Pierce and her husband Ottis of Trinity; granddaughter, Elizabeth N. Pierce of Trinity; brother, Sidney Hall of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro from 6 - 8 PM. The funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Mountain View Independent Methodist Church, 1530 Mt. View Church Road in Asheboro with Rev. Brian Hauk and Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Mountain View Independent Methodist Church, 1530 Mt. View Church Road, Asheboro, NC 27205.
