Dorothy Ferree Goldston, age 76, of 1822 Britton Street, Greensboro died Friday, September 23, 2011 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mrs. Goldston was born August 21, 1935 in Randleman, NC the daughter of Robert William Ferree and Charlotte Spencer Ferree. Mrs. Goldston was a native of Randolph County and a cook in the food industry for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robyn Grant and a son who died at birth, Scottie Goldston. She is survived by her husband: Charles G. Goldston of the home, children: Charles R. Goldston and his wife, Barbara of Greensboro, Arthur Goldston of Greensboro, Connie Tate and her husband, Reginald of Greensboro, Cynthia Robinson and her husband, Barry of Statesville, Ethel Goldston of Greensboro, Denise Surgeon and her husband, Tony of Greensboro, Maurice Goldston and his wife, Sharon of Siler City and Dwayne Goldston of Greensboro, one sister: Betty Sue Gant of Randleman, 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 27, 2011 for 30 minutes prior to the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Harshaw Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 3840 Bowman Road, Randleman with Pastor Willie Graves and Rev.
