Dorothea Stout Nelson

Dorothea Stout Nelson, age 92, of 230 E. Presnell St., Asheboro died Monday, April 9, 2012 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Nelson was born in Coleridge, NC on September 13, 1919 to Clifford and Della Cox Stout. She was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Randolph Hospital. In addition to her parents, Dorothea was preceded in death by her husband James Robert Nelson. She is survived by her son, Bobby Nelson of Asheboro, NC; daughters, Cletus Price of Asheboro, NC, Wanda Lineberry and her husband Dewey of Elk Creek, VA, Althea Webb and her husband David of Randleman, NC, Alma Martin and her husband John of Asheboro, NC; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Ondra Stout of Ramseur, NC; sisters, Geneva Brown of Asheboro, NC, Golda Burris of Ramseur, NC, and Mary Welch of Robbins, NC. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
