Dorlos Trogdon Steed

Mrs. Dorlos Trogdon Steed, 89, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 12 noon on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Pugh Funeral Home with Rev. David Speering, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Steed was born October 14, 1927. She was the daughter of the late John Flavius Trogdon, Sr. and Mary Leanna Hobson Trogdon. She was a graduate of Asheboro High School and retired owner of North State Insurance Agency. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Steed was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clyde W. Steed, her son-in-law Bill Muse, her brothers, John Trogdon, Jr. Vernon Trogdon, Edsel Trogdon, Wayne Trogdon and Earl Trogdon and her sisters, Opal McNair and Margaret Thomas. Mrs. Steed is survived by her daughters, Susan Steed Muse and her husband, Richard Grimes, of Troy and Alice Steed Underwood and her husband, Jeff, of Asheboro. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Will Muse and wife Lori of Jamestown, Brian Muse of Troy, Evan Underwood and wife Brittany of Asheboro and Keli Underwood of Asheboro. Great grandchildren, Camille Muse and Clyde Muse and beloved dog, Jack. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Randolph Hospice House, P.O.
