Doris Samuels Trogdon St. Onge

Doris Samuels Trogdon St. Onge, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on April 15, 2023 at Rose Tara Senior Services in King, NC.

Doris was born in Asheboro, NC to Lessie & Reuben Trogdon on May 3, 1928. Doris lived most of her life in Madison, NC. Doris was married to the late Peter St. Onge and they spent most of their time dancing and spending time with family.

Doris spent the last 4 years living with her daughter in Pinnacle, NC where her loved ones visited often. 

Doris is preceded in death by her son, Curtis Elwood Samuels, her sisters Maxine & Edna Mae, and her brothers, Vance, Worth, & RA Trogdon.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Barbara S. Tilley (David), her twin brothers, Clay (Karin) & Ray Trogdon. Grandchildren, Bryan & Staci Mabe, and Kevin & Leah Samuels, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters, and her favorite puppy, Toby.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Oaklawn Cemetery with Pastor Travis Shelton officiating. 

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 12 noon at the home of her grandson Bryan Mabe, 210 Harmon Court in Kernersville, NC 27284.
