Doris Saunders Miller

Doris Saunders Miller, age 77, of Asheboro died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the First E & R United Church of Christ, 221 Cliff Road, Asheboro with Rev. Dale Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Miller was a native of Randolph County and was a member of First E&R United Church of Christ. She and her husband Wade were very involved, along with their son Cliff, with the early development of Sound Engineering (now SE Systems). Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Miller and her brother, Tracy Saunders. She is survived by her son, Cliff Miller and his wife Kathryn of Greensboro, NC; daughter, Debi Ayers and her husband Sonny of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Chris Ayers, Haley Miller, and Graham Miller; brother, Lloyd Saunders and his wife Rose of Asheboro, NC; sister, Polly Johnson of Siler City, NC; and sister-in-law, Opal Saunders of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
