Doris Ann Morris Luck

Doris Ann Morris Luck, age 70, of Randleman passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Mrs. Luck was born in Asheboro on November 10, 1946 to Shellie Hubbard and Gertha Lee Langley Morris. Doris taught the 4th grade at Randleman Elementary School from 1969-1978. She was a charter member of Central Carolina Community Church (C-4). In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her siblings, Wade Lee Morris, Ruby Mae Morris, Bertha Jean Morris, Herbert Elmer Morris, and John Wesley Morris. Doris enjoyed reading and walks in the neighborhood. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gilbert Luck; son, Todd Luck of Winston-Salem; brothers, Howard Van Morris and wife Ellen, James Rufus Morris and wife Nora Lee, and Clarence Odell Morris all of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Monday, October 9, 2017 from 2:00-3:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A memorial service will follow on Monday at 4:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward J. Arroyo officiating.
