Doris Perdue Hurley, age 80, of Asheboro passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Randolph Hospice House.
Mrs. Hurley was born in Randolph County on September 2, 1936 to Clifton and Josie Hill Perdue. She was a member of Covenant Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Hurley, brother, Austin Perdue, granddaughter, Ellen Hurley English and niece, Tammy Perdue. Doris loved the Lord, her children, and her grand and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Hurley Harris and husband Scott of Randleman, Lori Hurley English and husband Charles of Asheboro, and Dana Hurley of Asheboro; sons, Michael Hurley of Asheboro, and Tony Hurley and wife Patty of Randleman; grandchildren, Chasity Brady, Kathryn Hurley, Landen English, Morgen Faith English, Talan Watson, Ayla Watson; great grandchildren, Lauren Brady, Sheldon Brady; great great grandchild, Dawson Brady; sisters, Peggy Causey, Rhonda Albertson, Betty Causey, and Shirley Rich; brothers, Ardle Lee Perdue, Larry Perdue, Stevie Perdue, and Kenneth Perdue.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery, 905 Abner Rd., Troy with Rev. Lois Johnson officiating.
