Dora Deane Farmer

Dora Deane Hayes Farmer, age 77, of Asheboro went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Dora Dean Hayes Farmer was born on February 4, 1936, the daughter of Willard and Velma Hayes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, of 58 years, Ernest Farmer. She is survived by sons: Jeffrey P Farmer of the home, NC, Terry and his wife Sue of Sophia, NC; daughters: Dianne VonCannon and her husband Lanny of Sumter, SC, Michelle Robbins of Asheboro, NC; sisters: Evelyn Johnson of Thomasville, NC, Mildred Dalton of Dublin, VA; Grandchildren:, Farrah McNeill and her husband Jeremy , Lauren Gordon and her husband Mike , James VonCannon; Ray VonCannon, Melissa Robbins The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 10-11 am at Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd., Randleman, NC. The funeral will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating. Burial will be in Monta Vista Memorial Gardens, Galax, Va..
