Donna Bottoms Mercer

Donna Etta Bottoms Mercer, age 89, of Carolina House, Asheboro died Friday, October 17, 2008 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Mercer was born October 11, 1919 in Mt. Airy, NC the daughter of Ira Lee and Susan Chandler Bottoms. Mrs. Mercer was a native of Mt. Airy and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband James Mercer. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Charles East, 3155 George York Rd., Randleman. A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, Franklinville, NC with Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating.
