Donivon Eugene Davis

Donivon Eugene Davis, age 46, of Star, North Carolina passed away February 11, 2017 at his residence. Donivon was born December 23, 1970 in Montgomery County, NC, the son of Melvin Eugene and Maggie Hall Davis, both of whom precede him in death. He was a former sheet metal technician in the air conditioning industry and was of the Baptist faith. He loved the outdoors and participated in American Revolutionary War Re-enactments. He also enjoyed reading. His grandchildren were the love of his life. He is survived by three children: Nicole (Mario) Morales of Troy, Cheyenne Davis of Salisbury and Jordan Davis of Albemarle; 3 grandchildren: Blaze Poindexter, Austin Poindexter and Conner Williams and was expecting his first granddaughter; mother of Nicole Morales: Darlene Eddins; brother: James (Angela) Davis of Ellerbe and sister: Vicki (Marshall) Davis of Star. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 12 noon until 4pm at the home of Nicole and Mario Morales, 461 W. Main St., Troy, NC.
