Donald Eugene Wilson

Donald Eugene Wilson, age 64, of 1715 Park Dale Ave., Gastonia died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Robin Johnson House, Dallas, NC. Mr. Wilson was a native of Union, SC and was of Baptist faith. Donald had worked at Thomas Built Bus Co., Mickey Body Shop, City of Archdale and Mebane, and Southern Dye Casting. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and riding boats. Donald is preceded in death by his father, James P. Wilson and a grandson. He is survived by his wife: Joyce Gordon Wilson of the home; daughter Lori Lowe and her husband, Mike of Thomasville; parents, Verlin and Mamie Bodenheimer of Asheboro; step children, Jackie Martin and her husband Randy of Kings Mt., Teresa Nicholas and her husband Patrick of New Jersey, Jeff Rush of Charlotte, David Rush of Gastonia; grandchildren, Brandon and Bryce Lowe; 9 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; sisters: Evelyn Lowe and her husband Tony of Liberty, Brenda Moore of Sophia, and Linda Crawford and her husband Charles of Advance; brothers: James Wilson and his wife Ann of High Point, Robert Wilson and his wife Susan of Mebane, and Kenneth Bodenheimer of Trinity. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman and other times at Brenda Moore, 6083 US Hwy. 311, Sophia, NC 27350. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Green officiating. Memorials may be made to Robin Johnson House, 5005 Shepherds Way Dr., Dallas, NC 28034.
