Donald Myron "Don" Morrison, age 77, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his home.
Don was born in High Point to John Donald Morrison and Virginia Kennedy Morrison. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an instructor at Randolph Community College for over forty years, teaching Small Engine Repair and Real Estate. His hobbies included fishing, RV Camping and G-gauge model trains. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and helping others in many ways.
He is survived by his wife: Sylvia Calloway Morrison, two sons: Donald Morrison of Clayton, NC, James Dean Morrison and his wife, Kandice of Charlotte, NC; daughter: Tina Dunlap and her husband, John of Greensboro, NC; step-children: Ritchie Buffkin and his wife, Myla of Asheboro, NC and Dawn Morton and her husband, Tommy of Asheville, NC; 6 grandchildren: Kathryn and Logan Morrison, Ashley Barham and her husband, Lee, Taylor Lee Morton, Joshua Morton, Kellie Streater; and one great grandchild: Ayden Cox.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at his home.
A private inurnment burial will be held at New Hope Memorial Gardens for the family.
