Donald Deberry of 4460 NC Hwy 109N, Troy died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
Mr. Deberry was born in Richmond County the son of Chine and Lelea Driggers Deberry.
He was a retired machinist with 42 years of service from Thomasville Furniture Industries. He attended Macedonia United Methodist Church for several years.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Betty Luther Deberry; four brothers and seven sisters.
He is survived by three daughters: Danna Austin of Swannanoa, Terri Austin of Asheville, Angela Tipton and husband, Roger of Swannanoa; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; three sisters: Geneva Morris of Troy, Odessa Furr of Stanfield and Dot Auman of Albemarle; two brothers: Ronald Deberry and Bruce Deberry, both of Albemarle.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N Main St., Troy. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 pm at Macedonia United Methodist Church, 4203 NC Hwy 109N, Troy with Rev. Jack Luther officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
