Donald William Cripps

Donald William Cripps, age 84, of 6768 Brantley Gordon Rd., Denton died Friday, March 21, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Cripps was born in Norfolk, VA and served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was retired from Union Carbide. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Frances Hansen Cripps and his son, Bill Cripps. He is survived by his Daughter & Son-in-law, Mary and Danny Brookshire of the home; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Sissy And Joe Coyne of Landsdowne, PA; Son & Daughter- in-Law, Joe And Darlene Cripps of Denton, NC; Eight Grandchildren; Twelve Great Grandchildren; and Sister And Brother-in-law, Betty And Ross Harris of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30-1:30PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Graveside Services will follow at 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, Albemarle Road, Asheboro with Rev. Daniel Little officiating.
