Donald Eugene Blake

Donald Eugene Blake, age 71, of Troy died Monday, February 11, 2019.

Mr. Blake was born May 9, 1947 in Greensboro to Roy and Merle Blake.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired machinist. Donald was a man of solitude, but a good friend to those who knew him well.

He is survived by his daughter, Alexandra Blake and her husband Shawn Smith of Greensboro; son, Matthew Blake of Asheboro; granddaughter, Fiona Snart; sister, Sharon Young and her husband Charles "Bud" Young of Mt. Gilead.

There will be a visitation on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 2:00-3:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with military honors to follow by the Randolph County Guard.
