Dolores Farlow

Dolores Hinrichs Farlow, age 89, of 737 Holly Grove Road, Randleman died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Wesley Long Community Hospital, Greensboro. Mrs. Farlow was born December 31, 1922 the daughter of William and Annette Phillips Hinrichs. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Friday, March 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Sophia Christian Church, 5747 U.S. 311, Sophia with Rev. Roger Brittingham officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Mrs. Farlow was a native of Milwaukee, WI and served in the US Army during WWII. She was a nursing graduate from St. Mary's Nursing School in Milwaukee. She was an active member of Sophia Christian Church and retired as a nurse from Randolph Hospital, after more than 20 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband: Richard Farlow. She is survived by: son and his wife: William R. and Brenda Farlow of Sophia, NC; daughter: Sharon F. Brooks of Boone, NC; daughter and her husband: Barbara F. and John Wilkerson of Randleman, NC; son: David Farlow of Randleman, NC; grandson and his wife: Jason and Jennifer Brooks of Falls Church, VA; grandson and his wife: Greg and Hope Brooks of Raleigh, NC; grandson: Jesse Wilkerson of Raleigh, NC; and one great grandchild: Bradyn Brooks.
