Dixie May Way

Dixie May Jarrell Way, age 85, formerly of 1165 Little Point Rd., Randleman died Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Randolph Hospice House. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Central Falls Baptist Church, 1332 Old Liberty Rd., Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Central Falls Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Hussey officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Way was born in Star, NC on June 27, 1927 to Frank and Ida Sheffield Jarrell. She was retired as a Nursing Assistant with the Randolph County Adult Day Care Center and was a member of Central Falls Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Dixie was preceded in death by her brothers, Spencer, Lester, Buddy, and Coy Jarrell. She is survived by her son, Dale Way and his wife Cathy of Sophia, NC; daughter, Belinda Garner and her husband Perry of Sophia, NC; grandsons, William Garner and his wife Ashley, Sean Garner and his wife Alicia, Pat Garner, and Chris Hill and his wife Aleece; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Max Jarrell and sister, Tula Faye Luther.
