Dixie Pyrtle Eaton

Dixie Pyrtle Eaton, age 85, of Asheboro died Friday, October 7, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Eaton was born January 30, 1926, the daughter of John Dillard and Grace Sheppard Pyrtle. Mrs. Eaton was a native of Patrick County, VA and formerly worked in the textile industry. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Dixie loved God and was of Primitive Baptist Faith, she also enjoyed gardening. She is survived by two daughters: Kay Taylor and Patricia Ray and her husband, Gary all of Asheboro, one son: Gid William Eaton, Jr. of Asheboro, 5 grandchildren: Shawn Williamson, Chris Ray, Justin Santiano, Amber Cranford, Cody Eaton, Jesse Eaton, Savannah Eaton and 4 great grandchildren.
