Dillion Paul Chesney

Dillion "Dill" Paul Chesney, age 20, of Troy, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Candor, NC.

Dillion was born November 22, 1996 in Asheboro, NC, the son of Gary and the late Tanna (Reeves) Chesney.

Dillion always placed God first in his life. He was a passionate soul who loved life to its fullest. He had an infectious personality and contagious smile. Dillion enjoyed riding four wheelers and mud racing.

He was employed by GS Materials, Candor, NC as a Plant Manager.

He is survived by his fiancé, Cherryl Kellam; daughter, Dixie Lynn Chesney; father, Gary (Alexandra) Chesney of Troy; sister, Jessica (Daniel) Wood and their son Lane of Ellerbe, NC; uncle John (Angie) Chesney of Denton; brother Steve Goins of Asheboro; brother Aaron (Jessica) Goins of Asheboro; cousin Taylor (Josh) Garren of Denton; grandfather Donnie (Francine) Reeves of Troy; grandmother Geneva (Harvey) Shue of Burlington; grandmother Frances Kellam of Candor; and grandmother, Patricia Chesney, Indianapolis, IN.

Dillion was preceded in death by his mother, Tanna Chesney and grandfather Steven Paul Chesney.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5:30 - 8:00 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Center United Methodist Church, 186 Center Methodist Church Rd., Troy, NC, with Rev. Jim Hunsucker and Rev. Ben Hall officiating.

Burial will be in Center United Methodist Church Cemetery, Troy.
