Dexter Eugene Harris

Dexter Eugene Harris, age 61, of 1619 English Knoll, Matthews died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Presbyterian HospitalPresbyterian Hospital, Charlotte. Mr. Harris was a native of Jacksonville, FL and a graduate of Asheboro High School and Wingate College. He was employed as a consumer sales representative with Terkra Sales in Charlotte. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Harris; son, Christopher Harris and his fiance, Amanda Copas of Charlotte, NC; sister, Linda Friddle of Asheboro, NC and brother, Tommy Harris of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 7 to 9 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of Tommy and Jo Harris, 1840 Brook Dr., Asheboro. The funeral will be Friday, March 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Mt Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 1206 Oakland Avenue, Asheboro with Pastor Neil C. Poole officiating. Burial will be at Tom's Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Denton, NC. Memorials may be made to Mt Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 1206 Oakland Avenue, Asheboro, NC 27203.
