Dexter Ray "Jr." Church, age 45, of Asheboro died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at his home, Mr. Church was born March 24, 1969 in High Point, NC the son of Raymond Church and Doris Tucker. Dexter was a native of Randolph County and was owner of A-Z Construction Company. He attended Destination Heaven Church. Dexter loved his family, fishing and the out-doors. He is survived by his wife: Christina Church, two daughters: Sydney Crutchfield Bullins and husband Bryan of Lexington, NC., Heather Paige Skeen of the home and one son: Derek Church and wife Shannon of Randleman, NC, mother: Doris Tucker, sister: Sandy "Sissy" Snider and husband Chris of Asheboro, NC and two brothers: Bo Church and girl-friend Michelle Gainey of Asheboro, NC, Ronnie Church and wife Kim of Asheboro, NC.grandchildren: Journey Towery of Lexington, NC, and Kenzie Church of Randleman, NC; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, November 10, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday November 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM. at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Alvin Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Asheboro City Cemetery.
