Dewey Adam Gibson

Dewey Adam Gibson, age 41, of Asheboro, NC died Sunday, June 23, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Gibson was born September 30, 1977 at Pinehurst, NC the son of Douglas Edward Gibson and Debra Hall Gibson.

Adam was currently employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant having previous employment as a Paramedic. Adam enjoyed spending time with his daughter. He was a caring, giving, jovial man who loved the outdoors and grilling out with his family and friends.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his daughter: Savannah Paige Gibson of the home; sister: Lynn Brewer of Candor, NC; brother: Douglas Eugene Gibson of Candor, NC; fiance': Ann Freeman of the home; and niece: Destiny Rose Garner and husband Caleb of Candor, NC. Adam was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Ellon Gibson.

The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow with William Saunders officiating, at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy, NC.
