Dewey Franklin Davis, Sr.

Dewey Franklin "Frank" Davis, Sr., age 75, of Eden died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at his home. Mr. Davis was native of Randolph County and was a US Army veteran of The Korean War. Frank retired from Mabe Trucking Company in Eden. He is preceded in death by his parents, Worth and Ruby Heath Davis. He is survived by one son: "Chip" Davis and his wife Cindy of Asheboro; grandchildren, Andrew Davis and his wife Sarah of Asheboro, and Hal Davis of Asheboro; sister: Wanda Tesch of Randleman; companion, Joyce Belton of the home; canine friend, Bobby. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 10:00-10:45 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Chaplain Dwight Ayers officiating.
