Derick Wade Singletary, age 20, of 230 East Presnell Street, Asheboro died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mr. Singletary was born August 3, 1990 in Asheboro, NC the son of Walker Darin Singletary and Crystal Rumbley Miller. Mr. Singletary was a native of Asheboro, NC and of Baptist Faith. Derick was preceded in death by his grandfather; Johnny D. Rumbley. He is survived by his mother: Crystal Rumbley Miller and her husband, Jeff of Asheboro, his father; Walker Darin Singletary of Robbins, step mother; Carmen Martindale of Asheboro, three brothers: Christopher Singletary , Austin Singletary and Zackery Singletary all of Asheboro, two sisters: Stephanie Singletary and Destiny Singletary all of Asheboro; maternal grandmother; Mae Rumbley of Ramseur, paternal grandparents; Jewel and Walker Singletary of Robbins, step grandparents; Kenny and Donna Miller of Georgetown, SC; step grandparents; Janet and Barry Morris of Georgetown, SC; nephew; Vadin Singletary of Cedar Falls, and niece; Alexis McDuffy of Ramseur.
