Demetra Purvis Callicutt

Demetra Purvis Callicutt, age 50, of 160 Andrew Hunter Rd., Asheboro died Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Hosler officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Callicutt was a native of Randolph County and an assistant teacher for the Randolph County school system. She was preceded in death by her father, James Purvis and her mother-in-law, Pauline Callicutt. Mrs. Callicutt was a loving wife, mother and mam-maw. She is survived by her husband, Perry Ferree Callicutt; mother, Mae Pugh Purvis; daughter, Vickie C. Bunting and her husband David of Asheboro, NC; son, Perry F. Callicutt, Jr. and his wife Vickie of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Abbie Callicutt, Joshuah Callicutt, Hunter Bunting, Logan Bunting, Dakota Bunting. The family will receive friends Monday, August 11, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
