Delphia Odell Lineberry, age 76, of Franklinville died Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro.
Mr. Lineberry was born August 1, 1941 the son of Delphia Grady and Juanita Ivey Lineberry.
Odell was a native of Randolph County and a graduate of Grays Chapel High School. He was a life time member of Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, charter member of the United Methodist Men and a member of Grays Chapel Lions Club. Odell was a brick mason for 29 years. In addition to his parents, Odell is preceded in death by his brother, William Alfred Lineberry, and his sister Betty Lineberry Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Routh Lineberry of the home; daughter, Tammy Webster (Dave) of Franklinville; grandchildren, Hanna Grace Webster (fiancé Jordan Mayle) of Raleigh and Jacob Todd Webster (fiancée Emily Jewell) of Durham; sister, Wilma Lineberry Stalker of Franklinville; brothers, Fred Worth Lineberry of Asheboro and Tony James Lineberry of Cary; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:30 AM at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, 5056 N.C. Hwy 22 North, Franklinville, NC. The funeral service will follow at noon with Rev. Jacob Kyker and Rev. Alanda Harris officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.
