Delores Jean Vestal

Delores Jean York Vestal, age 81, of Randleman died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mrs. Vestal was born March 2, 1936 the daughter of Cray and Janie York. Delores was a long time resident of Randolph County and retired from Nixon & Reynolds Hoisery. She was a member of Kingdom Hall Church in Randleman. In addition to her parents, Delores is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Lee Vestal, Sr., son, Kenneth Wayne Vestal, and her brothers, Leonard, Leroy and Harry York.

She is survived by her daughter: Brenda Fuller and husband David of FL; sons: Allen Vestal, Jr. and wife Vivian of Randleman, and Daniel Eric Vestal and wife Debra of Randleman; grandchildren: Machala Vestal, Christian Vestal, Madison Vestal, Roy Vestal and Robert Vestal all of Asheboro, Michael Waldrop, Devin Waldrop and Megan Waldrop all of Statesville;

sister: Ginger Halverson and husband Ronnie of Clemmons; brothers: Julian York and wife Linda of Asheboro and Louis York of Randleman.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 24, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Daniel Vestal, 2787 George York Rd., Randleman. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Pastor Neil Poole officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, Franklinville.

The family would especially like to give a special "Thanks" to Ginger and Ronnie Halverson, Julian and Linda York and to Hospice of Randolph for their compassionate care and attention given to Delores.
