Delores Trotter Dunn

Mildred "Delores" Trotter Dunn, 86 of Asheboro went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 27, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Dunn was born in Randolph County on March 12,1933 to Everett Louis Trotter and Nancy Hill Trotter.

Mrs. Dunn attended Faith Alliance Church prior to her illness. She retired at the age of 62 from the textile industry. She loved reading her bible and enjoyed cooking, quilting and Atlanta Braves Baseball.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by sisters, Ina Routh and Ruth Routh; brothers, Clifford Trotter, Reece Trotter, John Trotter, and Neely Trotter.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Willie "Bill" Dunn of the home; daughter, Sherry Saunders and husband Eddie of Asheboro; son, Willie Dunn and wife Jeanette of Lexington; grandchildren, Candace Allen and husband Paul of Archdale, Brittney Luck and husband Kevin of Asheboro, Angela Dunn of Denton, and Brad Dunn of Mocksville; great grandchildren, Sarah Cox, Blaine Cox, Madison Luck, and Mason Luck.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 form 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at the home of Sherry and Eddie Saunders.

Funeral services will follow on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Brent Tysinger officiating. Burial will follow the services at Oaklawn Cemetery.
