Delmar Lawrence Dawson, age 86, of River Pointe Apartments, River Pointe Dr., Randleman, died Friday, October 30, 2009 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro.Mr. Dawson was born July 4, 1923 in Clay County, WV, the son of James Madison and Mylenda Jane (Friend) Dawson. He was retired from Smith Corona. He is survived by his wife, Mary "Sue" Henderson Dawson, Sisters: Lucille Bowe of St. Mary's, WV, Alice Vance of Cleveland, OH, and Anna Byrge of La Folette, TN.A Private Service will be held.Pugh Funeral Home in Randleman is in charge of arrangements.
