Dee Weston

Dorothy Jane "Dee" Isley Weston, age 82, of 911 Avondale Ave., Asheboro died Monday, February 22, 2010 at Carolina House of Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J.C. Grose officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Weston was a native of Guilford County and was a 1948 graduate of UNC-G. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she started and taught the Kindergarten Class for many years. Dee was a member of the Dig N' Dream Garden Club, was a member of the Randolph Arts Guild and was a volunteer with the Randolph County Senior Adults Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clary Weston. Dee was a wonderful wife, kind friend, and lover of people, nature and animals. She treated everyone with kindness and love. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Weston of Asheboro, NC; sons, Marc Weston of Mooresville, NC, Doug Weston of Greensboro, NC, Jim Weston of Asheboro, NC; brother, Dr. Joseph K. Isley of Ft. Myers, FL; and cousin, Jane Lisk of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 11:00 AM-12:00 noon at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
