Deborah Gail Mitchell

Deborah Spencer Mitchell, age 67, of Pleasant Garden went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem.

Deborah was born in Boston, Mass. and was a long time resident of Greensboro, NC. She graduated from Grimsley High School in 1969 and married her loving husband and best friend December 5, 1969. Deborah was employed by Bell South/ AT&T for 37 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Richard Spencer and Lorraine Barney Spencer and her half brother.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Rev. Curtis Mitchell of the home; daughters: Angela Mitchell and Cheri Rhoton and husband David all of Pleasant Garden; grandson, Michael Rhoton and wife Bethany of Asheboro; great granddaughter, Addilyn Rhoton of Asheboro; sisters: Linda Spencer of Greensboro, Susan Aldridge and husband Bill of Franklinville, and Nancy Hertline of Greensboro; 1 half brother; 2 step brothers and several nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC 27317. The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Mitchell and Pastor Donnie Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro.
