Deborah Markwood Bunting

Deborah Markwood Bunting, age 56, of Asheboro died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 148 Drum St., Asheboro with Rev. Lee Green officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Bunting was born in Asheboro on September 28, 1956 to W.D. and Ella Mae Brim Markwood. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Debbie enjoyed visiting the mountains and loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her brother Harry Markwood and son-in-law Alan Newton. She is survived by her husband, Paul Bunting; daughters, Tabitha Ownsbey and her husband Fred, Lori Bunting, and Lisa Newton all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Joseph, Chase, Riley, and Robert; sister, Dora Mae Clodfelter and her husband Larry of Asheboro; brother, Buddy Markwood of Asheboro; and sister-in-law, Patsy Markwood of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 11:00 AM-12:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
