Dawn Louise Warren Bailey of Randleman, North Carolina, died on May 25, 2012, just ten days after her 66th birthday.
She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Robert O. and Violet Warren. She graduated from Arundel High School in Gambrills, Maryland and immediately began working at NSA. She retired several years ago and relocated to Randleman.
Dawn was predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Kim Bailey. She is survived by her brother: Robert O. Warren, Jr. of Severna Park, Maryland, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and by two special "nieces", Erin Grampp of Spotsylvania, Virginia and Meredith Abbate of Harrington, Delaware.
Dawn had a passion for NASCAR racing and was an avid fan of Richard Petty. She traveled to many NASCAR races throughout the country until declining health prohibited her travels. She continued to watch races, read anything to do with stock cars, and collect racing souvenirs.
Services will be private. She will be interred in Glen Haven Cemetery in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 222 South Church St., Suite 336M, Charlotte, NC 28202 OR Victory Junction Gang, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, NC 27317 OR Camp Dogwood, P.O. Box 39, Sherrills Ford, NC 28657.
