David Reginald Tarlton

David R. Tarlton, age 73, of Randleman, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at home with his wife and family. Mr. Tarlton was born December 23, 1937 in Kannapolis, NC. David was a veteran who served in the US Navy. After his discharge he served as a captain for Exxon Mobile before retiring in 1981. David was a Deacon at Berean Memorial Baptist Church where he loved to fellowship with his church family and sing with his wife. He is survived by his wife: Nancy Pugh Tarlton, of the home; sons: Buddy Pugh and his wife Gina of Randleman, Todd Pugh and his wife Erin of Randleman; grandchildren, Matt Pugh and his wife Brittany, Katie Harrelson and her husband Tony and Alec Pugh all of Randleman; great granddaughter, Emma Hardy. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 2:00 - 3:15 pm at Berean Memorial Baptist Church, 4991 Branson Davis Rd., Sophia, NC 27350. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 pm with Pastor Joe L. Farlow officiating. Burial will be at Faith Temple Baptist Church Cemetery, 3075 Mack Lineberry Rd. Franklinville, NC 27248.
