David Sikes

John David Sikes, age 72, of Asheboro died Thursday, May 14, 2009 at his home.A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 2:30 PM at Whynot Cemetery, Fork Creek Mill Rd, Seagrove with Rev. Kenneth Reaves officiating.Mr. Sikes was a native of Randolph County and was a 1954 graduate of Seagrove High School. He was a member of Seagrove Christian Church and was a life long farmer. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Brittain of Asheboro, NC, Sue Rice of Statesville, NC, Doris Allmond of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Ray Sikes of Asheboro, NC, Henry Sikes of Seagrove, NC, Tommy Sikes of Texas, Jimmy Sikes of Asheboro, NC.The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
