David Don McIe

RANDLEMAN--David Don McIe, age 68, of Randleman died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. McIe was born February 23, 1948 the son of Willie and Gay Fisher McIe. David served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and retired from the Army National Guard. He was one of fourteen children. He is survived by his wife: Donna McIe of the home; daughters: Lisa McIe of Sophia and Joanie Hobbs of Randleman; son: Jason Hobbs of High Point; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 7 brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 1, 2016 at 6:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with the Randolph County Honor Guard performing military rites.
