David Wilton Lee, Jr., age 66, of 1219 Ingram Dr., Asheboro died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Spaulding officiating. Burial will be Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Browers Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lee was a native of Baltimore, MD and was an MP with the K-9 unit in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Browers Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from Sherwin-Williams as a corrosion engineer. David was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner. He was a member of the HEJAZ Shriners in Mauldin, SC.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Olive Lee; son, David Lee and his wife Melody of Fort Mill, SC; daughter, Sherri Hogan and her husband, Warren of Fletcher, NC; grandchildren, Jacob and Jacqueline Lee, Olivia and Stone Hogan.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 18, 2011 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.
