David McNary Goodman

David McNary Goodman, age 53, of Asheboro died Saturday, October 24, 2015. Mr. Goodman was a native of Cabarrus County and was a 1980 graduate of Wilkes Central High School. David was retired from the National Guard and was formerly employed with the Harold Campbell Body Shop. David loved animals, wood working and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Karen York Goodman; daughter, Alesia Goodman Lewis of Asheboro; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Daniel; parents, Bobby and Clara Goodman of Kannapolis; sister, Jane Rollins and husband Larry of Kannapolis; brother Bobby Goodman, Jr. of Kannapolis; and parents-in-law, Julian and Linda York of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Flag Springs United Methodist Church, 5852 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro with Rev. Barry L. Queen and Rev. J.
